What is a Youth Resilience Summit you may ask?
Imagine yourself as an egg. If someone dropped you, the result would probably be a cracked shell.
Now, imagine yourself as a tennis ball. If someone dropped you, the result would probably be that you bounce back.
At the Youth Resilience Summit it is our goal to have you be a tennis ball, not an egg.
When situations in life, good or bad, have you hurtling towards the ground, we want you to have the tools to bounce back.

The Wisconsin National Guard Child and Youth Program exists to provide military child and youth with valuable opportunities for networking and skill development. Started in 2006, the Wisconsin National Guard Child and Youth Program (WINGCYP) has continued to grow both in numbers of participants and numbers of volunteers. Building on its philosophy of providing social, emotional and academic support to military children and youth, the WINGCYP works to increase awareness of challenges facing military children and youth as well as the resources available for these individuals.
